In AGM batteries, the electrolyte (a mixture of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed by the glass fibre. This type of battery is completely maintenance-free. No gas is produced during normal use. These batteries do not require ventilation and can be installed anywhere.

Our batteries are suitable for buffer and cycle operation:

Buffer operation (emergency power supply) – the battery is constantly connected to the charging system and serves as an emergency power source in the event of a power failure.
Cyclic operation – After charging, the battery is an independent energy source for the connected devices, after discharging it is recharged
AGM batteries must be charged with special chargers if they are not used for buffer operation. These chargers provide the correct charging current for the battery. Using car chargers or other chargers to charge the batteries usually leads to battery damage. Especially in cyclic operation, charge the battery after each use, do not discharge the battery below the cut-off voltage thresholds and leave it in a discharged state (store it).

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Charge the battery after each use, especially in cyclical use, do not discharge the battery below the voltage thresholds and do not leave or store it in a discharged state. The battery must be cleaned regularly. When washing or cleaning, make sure that no cleaning agents or liquids get inside the battery. Maintenance-free batteries are charged in the same way as serviceable batteries.
